Removing parts

Just a couple of questions:

1). How do I get the indicators off?

2). How do I get the gear knob off?!! I have tried all means and mine seems stuck on fast!!

1) Remove grill, get your hand in behind the indicators, and pull/wiggle to break the seal of the glue or sealant used to hold them in place. A helping pushing hand from in front might help. If you just want to replace the bulbs, the back of the indicator unscrews.

2) Mine's held on by a nut (under the gaiter) screwed up against the knob, Undo the nut, and the knob undoes by hand.

that gearknob can be a real b*****d!
mine was held by the nut underneath, but the thing had been filled with loctite
someone on here, Quinny I think came up with wrapping a lot of rag, or and old leather shammy around the knob, and then using some drastic tooling like stilsons or mole grips, it sounds drastic but it worked without marking the gearknob.

Do you mean indicator stalks?

No the actual indicators, the cars going for a respray on Thursday and the lights need to come out.
