A day at the seaside........

If your other arf thinks there are too many pistonheads things to do, then why not suggest a day at the coast? Oh, coincidentally the Norfolk / Suffolk TVRCC region are having a meet at Hunstanton on Sunday 23/7 I went last year and it was a good day, apart from the rain that set in at lunchtime, with a great collection of cars present.

The cars are parked on the grass slope right in the centre of town where the "pier" is. From there it's an easy stroll to the ice creams / beach / chip shop / bucket & spade shop.

Although Hunstanton may not be the most attractive part of the Norfolk coast line it'd be good to go there for a couple of hours before heading off into the countryside for some &

And there's a nice new section of flowing dual carriageway opened on the A47 now

I'll not be able to confirm until nearer the day cos Little Longers is due on 29/7 but thought I'd mention it to see if anyone else fancied going.......

Had some good fun around there when visiting the Lotus factory and during PistonFest!

Some good roads, but very rural with potentially hazardus tractors

Can imagine you'll be competing with farsands and farsands of bikers for space on the grass on a Sunday too as that has been a meeting place for years. Beautiful coast with twisty roads but it gets totally clogged with grockles this time of year

We went to this last year, was a good day out (until the heavens opened). Kids loved it (typical seaside town) and the cars looked great parked up on the green. I'm fairly sure the green was only open to Tivs.

Unfortunately won't be able to make it this year though.

We went up to this last year as my folks live in Dersingham, about 5 miles from Sunny Hunny (or not so sunny, as it turned out.) Was a good turnout of cars which the locals seemed to appreciate. I think it was the first time I'd seen a Sagaris too (Yellow Peril's) which Little Trackside took great delight in being allowed to sit in!



The bikers (of which there weren't any last year) all congregate along the promenade and not on the grass, so there's no problem parking on the green.
