I have done a search but am coming up a bit blank so;
I think someone on this forum said the first mod to buy for a porsche is better skill so can someone point me in the right direction for a training day as close as possible to Richmond N.Yorks. Croft circuit is only ten minutes from me, can it be done there?I would like to do it in the 996 & the 987 but my need is more pressing in the boxster believe it or not!
Also what do you think I will need to buy to make it useful,new wheels for both cars what about a nose bra( just realised, my first training bra,aah)anything else?
Thanks in advance I'm sure it will be a different answer from everybody but what the hey,gotta start somewhere.

Have you considered doing a trackday in your own car? There is one organised at Croft on the 17th August which is a great day organised by JWB. Instructors are on hand for tuition in your own car as well as the open pit lane style of the day which means going out whenever you want. The limit is around 15 cars on track at once so it rarely feels crowded. It's a great place to start as I found out last year and haven't looked back since. PM me if you want any more details.

get yourself out to trackdays(preferably driver educationish ones) and some auto-crosses.

as for mods I would suggest starting with some coilovers and r compound tires.
