Wheel bearing adjustment - How

Took all the wheels off last weekend for a good clean and noticed when putting the front ones back on, what I would consider to be excessive play in the wheel bearings. They don,t look obvious so any tips on adjusting would be appreciated.

basically good clean/inspection repack with grease and tighten back up to manufacturers settings if they are still slopy you need new bearings

Thanks for that. At the risk of looking a complete plank, I was expecting to see a castlated nut and split pin arrangement but found a small bolt bead in the middle of the hub. Presumably all will become apparent when I undo one.

don't forget bearing need to be pressed in so if they fall out beaware then you need to take the hub off to put the new ones in thats on a normal car i've not done a cerb ??
