Any bored 993 owners about?

Anybody fancy nipping outside with a tape measure to check something for me?
I've just bought a GT2 style (Matter copy?) strut brace - absolutely gorgeous, but it doesn't quite fit. The narrowest mounting hole position on the brace (innermost holes - one side is slotted) is exactly 86cm centre to centre. The corresponding bolts on my strut mounts (the 2 innermost bolts towards the front of the car) are exactly 85cm apart, centre to centre. Before I send the brace back for a replacement I wondered how different my car may be to others. I guess there must some tolerance, hence the reason for the slotted mount, but if all the braces come like this I will back to square one with the next one. If this is likely to be the case, then I may as well hang on to this one and get it modified to suit (I'm not afraid of that sort of thing). I know I could go out and buy one of those universal-type adjustable strut braces but they really don't look the part (I have to have the form as well as the function!).
Cheers in advance,
Trev

Gretchen may already have answered your question? Sorry if this is old news.....
measuring factory RS strut brace option code 459...which is the name as that fitted to Gt2.
strut brace itself sems to be 75cm
the mounts from where the strut brace attatches to the inner most bolts is 15cm each side.
making the whole thing 105cm across.

Trevor - YHM, though don't get too excited!
Gretchen - I'm not very excitable (alright, I am) but could you send again please. I have my home email set to be collected by my work pc so I won't see it until Monday. I've changed the settings so I will be able to collect it here now. Ta.

Not sure what Gretchen has sent yet but your 75cm one doesn't sound like it would fit either. I thought all 993s were the same dimension across the struts at the front. Certainly the brace I have is sold with that impression.
