Advice needed for radiator fans
Discussion
Hi, all, had my Noble 3R for just over a week now, and just sorting out some niggly little problems [gear linkage, handbrake adjustment etc etc] and noticed that only one fan cuts in when car is ticking over with ac on.
Can anyone tell me if both fans are meant to come on together, or are they phased for different temperatures? Both fans work by swapping connections over, but i wondered if one was controlled by ac and the other by thermostat. If there is a problem where do i start to look?
Ps Has anyone had a problem with turbo`s coming loose? both mine did!

Welcome SFM! AFAIK both fans come on at the same time and are not phased.
Welcome Steve! (Although I suspect we may have met at Finchingfield a few weeks ago??)
As t'other Rob said, fans are not phased. They just come on together.
When you say your turbos are loose, do mean the turbo to downpipe bolts? If so this is v common, if not universal. Must be a permanent solution to this, but I've not come across it yet. If this isn't the issue and your turbos are just flapping in the breeze then you really do have a problem!

they look the same as the second picture. Further investigation reveals one fan cuts in with air-con, when engine is hot the second one cuts in and both are running. I did`nt mention that this car has had a Noble motorsport upgrade, bigger turbo`s, intercooler, cams, re-map; 416.8bhp and 378lbft of torque but i would`nt have thought that the cooling was altered. I don`t think it`s a problem though, car does`nt overheat, it was just that until sunday i had`nt seen the other fan cut in.
