Beginner at Farnford airshow
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Well, I throughly enjoyed my day at Fairford airshow and the links below show a few of the photos I took. Surprisingly, the exposure was not too much of an issue, I too over 700 photos and only 15-20 had real exposure issues, however, focus did get me which I would appreiate some feedback on.
I suspect that "camera shake" is the main cause, + the fact the the planes are damm quick ...
Photos 1,2,4 are reasonably in focus, but 3 is "not sharp" despite the plane traveling at fairly low speed. Is it normal for a beginner to have such issues, if you look at the pics full size you will see what I mean.
All shot with the Nikor 55-200 Lens, AF-C, Large/Fine image.
Many thanks for your help and comments.

I like the Red Arrows shots
Sorry, I can't offer much critique as I have just started with a DSLR myself.

Thank you, I was quite pleased myself, I'll try and get some more up tomorrow or Mon.
Good luck with your photography.

The shots you posted are very nice, though I'm trying to figure out what the dark blob on the right side of #1 could be... You may want to clone that out in PS.
I suspect it was someones head !!! I was talking and had to spin round a bit quick to catch them, so wasn't standing in the best position.

Ah alright, I thought it was either that or you have very, very large hands and that was a finger...
