Just looking for some reassurance. I regularly use the accumate but never need to leave it on for more than a day or two at a time . I am now going away for 3 weeks , is it ok to leave the accumate connected for this length of time ? Thanks.

I leave my accumates on my motorbike and Morgan permanently, no problem, that is what they are designed for, they CANNOT overcharge your battery....

All perfectly true, I go away for up to months at a time, Dear Wife starts the Chim up every week or two (if she's not with me) and when I come home - first crack, sweet as a nut. Great piece of kit.

Cheers

Remember, these are conditioners, not chargers. They only charge the battery when the voltage falls below a preset level. Dunno about the Accumate, but I have an Airflow one, which has a "Charging" light on it, which you can see go on and off. I leave it plugged in all the time. Don't do this with a dumb charger, you will damage the battery through overcharging.

Thanks to all. One thing less to think about while I am away.
