Hello all, I went to open the bonnet on my T350c this morning and nothing seems too happen when I pull the bonnet release lever under the steering colum. I have tried prizing it open with a screw driver but dont want too risk damaging the car. Can any one help me with this? How can I get it open? I believe the cable connecting the lever too the bonnet has snapped.

Any response will be of help.

Thanks

it's easy, just reach down by the windcreen wipers outside the car at the top of the bonnet and pull the cable sideways manually where it sits in the bracket.

Not exactly high security!

Assuming it hasn't snapped by the bracket. Can you see?

It'd be more secure if you hadn't just advertised the fact on a public forum.
Any chance of deleting that comment, and PM'ing him?

edited because I didn't realise I'd quoted it!

And by quoting it you keep it even after he deletes it LOL!

This is not exactly rocket science. Most car bonnets can be pinged open with a nice long screwdriver through the grille. Thats why Focuses have a lock.

Wrong place I know, but was that your Spectral Silver T350 I saw today entering Bridgend from the direction of the M4??? Can't tell if yours is the same colour from your pic. I was in my girlfriends MR2 Roadster going the other direction, you wouldn't have noticed!
