just brought my first chimaera, accelerator cable?

I have just sold my evo and brought a Chimaera, the acc cable is very stiff, someone said that you can adjust it, is that correct.
Any other info on running the car and problems i should look out for would be great.

It might be worth checking that the cable is okay and not about to snap (either in the footwell or the engine bay) but generally I think they are just on the heavy side. I guess the only adjustment would be to the springs or the pivot bolt in the footwell.
