Saw a few of you have fitted grease nipples to your wishbone bushes, and this got me to thinking - (always dangerous!)...
Sounds a good idea, but should the inner tube be drilled with a hole or two as well? this way the grease would be forced into the area where the bolt is and hopefully push its way along the inside of the inner tube and out each side where its needed????
Expert clarification please? What works for you?

The steel bush is "clamped" by the lugs on the chassis and does not move, so it is unlikely any grease would make it out of the ends, unless you loosened the bolts before greasing. The only place you need grease is "all over" the poly bush surfaces which would be achieved by having grease nipples in the wish bones. I do not have grease nipples, but wish I had - it is an incredibly messy job to regrease!
