Yes, it was a fantastic day, and even more importantly, it was for a good cause and lots of money was raised.

It was Fantastic. If you ever get a chance to do this sort of thing then do it. I had a terrific day but also found the whole experiance very moving.

Lovely post by hospice administrator , makes it all worthwhile

A Massive THANK YOU to everyboby who helped us deliver such a fantastic & special day on Sunday. The total raised so far, as Bruce has advised you, is £7500 - a fantastic achievement!

It goes without saying that the support of all the drivers made the event a great success and , indeed, the event would not have been possible without You. The cars gleeming in the July sunshine was a spectacle in itself!

A personal thank you, also, to all of the non drivers for their support throughout the day with marshalling, registration and seeing people to the cars for their rides - you were all superstars!

it is difficult for me to put into words how grateful the Hospice is for your support so i thought i would let the children do it for you:

13 year old from Thundersley - "it was the best - when are you doing the next one?"

Hospice Care Staff - " Thank you so much for taking the boys out - you really made their day. They would not often get the opportunity to experience such thrill. They haven't stopped talking about it"

A 10 year old " My driver was really nice to me and told me all about the car i even got a certificate when my ride was over - thank You"

The smiles on the children's & adult's faces as they returned from their ride summed up the day for me - Perfect!

Once again, thank you and god bless you all.
