My best spot so far!!

Eleanor (or more likely, a very good replica) was prowling the streets of Leeds on Friday night, and it made my day.

I was walking on Greek Street to La Tasca, I had my iPod in my ears, when I felt a rumbling. I took out my earphones, and Eleanor appeared on my left, literally six feet in front of me. The paintwork looked mint, and it was an extremely clean car. I’ve seen the original that was used in the re-make when I was out in Vegas (it was for sale for $250,000), an I was lucky enough to allow the security guard to let me sit in the drivers seat (of course I flicked the switch ).

She stopped at the junction, the driver blipped the throttle, and turned onto Park Row and accelerated away, it looked and sounded amazing. There are always a few nice motors hanging around Leeds city centre, but to the chap who was pootling around in the Shelby Mustang, you stole the show my friend, I salue thee

Awesome!

My favourite non-Ferrari.
When my numbers come up, a good replica will be in my dream garage.

California Classic Imports UK in Stockport has an Eleanor replica up for sale.

They did the whole thing themselves, and it must be an absolute beauty.

No price on the site, just POA.

Rather bloody tasty though:

I reckon it'll be putting out 450bhp, and would be an absolute hoot...

Also reckon it'll be £40k at the least...

Greek Street is a great place to spot cars! I just started working in the city and you'll always find something or other gracing the kerbs

I work down Water Lane, and you get a few things gracing the kerbs down here too. Not usually that nice though.
