EVO picture - which Filter?

[mark.freeman]

This months EVO, page 5. How was this image created of the new porsche turbo? It looks like a filter that plays with contrast levels - is there a special name for it, who makes a good one, and how much?

I'm new to the forums but I'll post some pics from Le Mans soon - cheers for reading.

I'm sure a lot of the photos from EVO are photoshopped.

They do look stunning though!

I dont have a copy of EVO in front of me now, but if I remember correctly I think your talking about a full page image which has a graduated tobacco filter in the top 3rd of the pic - gives a lovely warm hue to what would otherwise be a pretty dull sky.

Doesn't look like any filters were used to me. Just an early morning/late evening shot with the contrast boosted to bring out the mist on the hills and the colour in the sky.
