I am sure that I passed one on the M3 northbound at Bracknell junction at the start of some road works a couple of months ago - big 4x4 thing with black (and yellow I think) squares all over it and yellow lights on the roof. I thought it was a motorway maintenance car surveying at first due to the yellow lights (not flashing).
He was behind a tripod at the back of his van on the hard shoulder and seemed to film me all the way up to him. Or maybe I am just paranoid....

I'm sure the boyz and girlz over on Pepipoo will have something to say about that. There's already a lot of argument about the use of civilians in speed limit enforcement.
