Well i suppose the heat on the homeward journey from back home had to take it's toll on something on my car, as my Aircon failed about 100 miles from home, here is what happened, and perhaps someone may have had this happen too.
We suddenly noticed it getting warm in the car, but all the green lights on the fan speed knob were illuminated, but nothing was coming out of the vents,so for now we just drove home the rest of the way with the windows open.
When we got home i checked that the air con was switching on, it was working ok, as the familiar click followed by the engine note dropping a bit, so the compressor was working ok, also the cooling fans at the front were running ok,
But still no air out of the vents, although the green lights were all on again.
So could this be a simple blown fuse ???
One final thing to save me asking again...When it was working with the aircon off, and the heat setting set to blue, i'm getting really hot air still coming into the foot well, and cool from all the other vents. Is this a flap setting problem?

My window vents have packed in blowing air con air. The dash vents work fine still. Since it still cools the car fine, I've not bothered getting it seen to. I'm sure someone will tell us what's gone wrong.

The top vents still blow normal air though?

could be the temperature control flap motor - under the 2 heater air boxes. They have been known to seize up.
