Dear All

I hope none of you use 1&1 internet for hosting websites. They have totally ruined my website and I will be taking it offline soon. I do not think I will be building another as I don't have the time or the heart to do it all over again. I am sorry for those who are following my project as I am getting around 150 hits a week. All future updates will be done on this site. Good news is the car will be on the road in August but not in time for the Open Day, but I will be there in person. It will be at the Donnington Show in September.

Here are two of the latest pics.

Regards Dave

That's a shame, do you not have a copy on your PC? - I do all mine locally and then FTP up to my server.

I know SFA about computers so can't help you one iota but from what I have seen of your website these past few months I am impressed and sad to here of its demise. As if you needed telling, keep up the good work and hopefully we shall meet one day (I will be attending the open day too).

Hi Eliot

I don't have a copy on my PC. It's all built online using their website builder software. I'm going to give them hell on the phone tomorrow. Their customer service is based in the Philippines which doesn't help as they don't seem to listen or understand the problems they have created. At least I have a day working on the car tomorrow!

Have the hosting company disappeared / gone bust or are they just ceasing the hosting of your site. If they are still operational, surely they can forward you a copy of the html files to enable you to host it elsewhere.
