Fuses

[Lost Boys]

CD/Radio clock and horn stopped working suddenly today.

Went to change fuse but fuse box is 'L' shape and totally different from the handbook.

Can anyone tell us which number fuse it is as we don't want to take a lot of them out to find the culprit.

The car is a 2002 4.5

I've got a technical bulletin that relates to some '98 Cerberas that used an Audi fuseboard. If you think that will be any help, drop me a line and I'll send it over. Maybe they decided to do the same thing in '02?

I think with the lack of info on here you'd just be aswell pulling each fuse in turn to see if its gone!

Depending on the type of fuse you can put a multi-meter across them in situ.

Not forgetting that good = 0 volts and blown = 12v

There is often discprepancies as to exactly what each fuse powers, as i recently found out, so it may be that you have to pull each one out anyway.

At a rough guess, i would say fuse 7 or 8 is the culprit. It's a start anyway

As you posted this on Tuesday - and today is Thursday - I think if you'd just taken each fuse out, you'd probably have found the blown one by now - it only takes 5 minutes !!

I think the fact that he's not replied tells us he's fixed the fault or he'd have been back with other questions. I think its just quiet on here, not many questions to be answered
