Afraid not. Went last year though, and although it sheeted down, it was a great day. WELL worth a visit for someone in half a mind to go.

Damned weather - I got soaked through three times . At least for the second downpour I was in the paddock and took umbrage under Jimmy McRea's awning, with the man himself.

The wet track made the special stage interesting as well . I think we saw there the difference between the real drivers and the rest of us.

And given how dark and wet in was for most of the day I'm amazed at how well some of my photos have turned out. I'll post a few of them up later when I've finished sorting through them.

First half of the day was brilliant, then the heavens opened
Love the Quattros, always the best car of the shows
The drive home was interesting, the M4 turned into a lake at one point, struggled to see the cats eyes never mind the lines under the water

I went! Didn't think that much of it, track action was poor, viewing was awful with not much banking and food/drink facilities were lacking.

^^^ M4 was awful wasn't it, couldn't believe the amount of water on it...

Stupidly I left the roof down on the TR6 when I left it - I've only just finished putting it all back together again after having had to strip out the carpets to dry, and bail an inch of water out the bottom

Track action was poor ? The track was nice and wet when the proper rally cars were out, both the Sunbeam Lotuses over cooked the second chicane - I left the driver sat in it while I checked we still had all the lamps on the front (Over a grand a corner) - We even beached it in the corn up at Quarry for the crowd and come our cavalcade he passed me the keys - plenty of action from where we were sat ! I'd always thought there was plenty of banking at all the interesting parts of the circuit. I can't comment on food/drink as I was being brought stuff all day and by the time we had packed up, got the car back on the trailer and thanked the organisers we had a Sunset lit bone dry, empty M4 !

Saw you hit the chicane in the Sunbeam, it did look like a bit of a handful!

Did anyone else see the Rothmans Escort lose it at the exit of the pits and go sideways across the grass just missing both sets of barriers?

Quattro's were awesome as usual.

David Higgins car control in the Mitsi WRC was very impressive, throwing it around like a toy, shame he never got a proper crack at the WRC.

Some very impressive cars on track, a good day out except for the weather!
