Oil Pressure - 30PSi at 5000 ??
Discussion
Hi, just wondering (as I have only had my T350 for a month now) what the Oil pressure should be at. When I start the engine I get the usual alarm then when idle its at about 14 -16 psi. When I'm at about 4000 rpm its at about 30 psi. From other posts I notice some much higher. I have had the sensor changed as the alarm kept going off when ever the psi went over 20. Can someone give me some advice if this could be a problem ?

Be carefull about the readings you get from the oil pressure gauge they all differ, the ops in the TVR are Fecking useles (well mine is). Mine read zero at tickover, took it to my dealers and now it reads zero sometimes 45 sometimes when cold and 10 sometimes when cold. If you are concerned get a pressure test done but i bet your engine is fine. The speed 6 is twin pumped just lay of the loud pedal at all times when starting her up thats were the damage is done...
Everybody will give you a different reading watch.....

What he said,, I find any reading are pretty acedemic with the roof off anyway, as you can't see a damn thing on the LCD display, although am sure I did have a reading of -20 for my water temp again, when its 34 outside!
I wouldn't be too concerned, but it's always best to get it checked out, just in case.....

Mine is now entertaining me with normal readings until 60deg, then constant -20 to -24 with a now-silenced beep (plus occasional pauses to reassure me that it's actually +97!) I had the temp sensor changed which didn't cure it, a minor earth fault is suspected but it'll have to wait to next service.
