RoadAngel, any good?
Discussion
The feature on radar detectors in EVO made me think about getting one of these RoadAngel devices, anyone got one? Bear in mind I've never used any of the radar spotter things yet so I'm a bit of a Ludite, but it looked like a good combination of what the laser detectors do and the Morpheus database type things?
In EVO one of the guys says it's not the most attractive unit to have stuck on the dash top but it looks ok to me, as I say having never used one I wonder what would be wrong with it? Also anyone know what a re-radiating aerial is, 'cos I haven't a clue if I need one but according to the web site the are £70 quid
must be good! Rich...

must be good! Rich... We've got one here at work.
They're very good but do not rely on them for laser, the "new" laser option only alerts you when you've been hit by a laser gun, which 99% of the time is too late
They basically do the same as the Geodesy, but don't have the option of *not* going off if you're below the posted speed limit in the area, nor ignoring cameras on the other side of the road/carriageway, i.e. the alert you to every camera within the radius of the unit, even if it's on a side road.
If you're intending sticking it on top of the dash and plugging it into your lighter socket, you don't need anything else.
If you want to install it in your dash somewhere, you need the extra arial.
