TVR news from London

I've just returned from Press Day and there are currently no new models on display (although I did get the heads up on a 2+2 and Tuscan replacement that is completely new from the chassis up).
This is what was on display on Press Day:
Speed 12
Sagaris - silver wth new single hinge bonnet
Sagaris - blue with new single hinge bonnet and optional rear exist exhaust system
Tuscan Convertible - blue
Tuscan S Pack - Blue OZ wheels (I was told they will be changed back to the standard Spiders so be quick!
F3 Racer - TVR Purple tucked away in the back corner fo the stand
It's official - the T350 and Tamora are no longer in the current linep and production has or will shortly end.
It's officila - All TVRs have the 4.0 Speed Six, the 3.6 is no more.
Highlights from the Media Pack:
The Sagaris now comes with a one-piece, conventionally hinged bonnet, which opens from the front of the car. There is also a newly developed rear diffuser and optional rear exiting exhaust system. The introduction of a third brake light and improved interior trim.
The Tuscan has the same new interior as the convertible.
Tuscan Convertible hasn't changed.
Tuscan S Pack is the official name for the optional Tuscan sports pack - no more Red Rose. There is no official sports pack for the Sagaris.
All TVRs now come with Alpine sound systems.
All TVRs now come fitted Sparco Seats.
In addition to the 7 spoke Spider there is a choice of optional 18 and 19 inch wheels.
Ricardo have been appointed to help develop it's cars (focusing on the Speed Six) in preparation for Euro V (LEV II) compliance.

I will believe the new models and the Euro V compliance when I see it.
I know...........naysayer, blah, blah, but where's the beef?
So let's get this right, we here on Pistonheads have generally been saying they should reduce the number of cars on offer and concentrate on refining those they have. So they now offer just the Tuscan (Targa & Convertible) and the Sagaris. They have appointed a well regarded engineering firm to act as consultants to improve the engine and they have refined details like the Sagaris bonnet-lid, seats, rear-end etc. Is this not exactly what most people on hear have been saying they should do? Rich...
