I've just returned from Press Day and there are currently no new models on display (although I did get the heads up on a 2+2 and Tuscan replacement that is completely new from the chassis up).

This is what was on display on Press Day:

Speed 12
Sagaris - silver wth new single hinge bonnet
Sagaris - blue with new single hinge bonnet and optional rear exist exhaust system
Tuscan Convertible - blue
Tuscan S Pack - Blue OZ wheels (I was told they will be changed back to the standard Spiders so be quick!
F3 Racer - TVR Purple tucked away in the back corner fo the stand

It's official - the T350 and Tamora are no longer in the current linep and production has or will shortly end.

It's officila - All TVRs have the 4.0 Speed Six, the 3.6 is no more.

Highlights from the Media Pack:

The Sagaris now comes with a one-piece, conventionally hinged bonnet, which opens from the front of the car. There is also a newly developed rear diffuser and optional rear exiting exhaust system. The introduction of a third brake light and improved interior trim.

The Tuscan has the same new interior as the convertible.

Tuscan Convertible hasn't changed.

Tuscan S Pack is the official name for the optional Tuscan sports pack - no more Red Rose. There is no official sports pack for the Sagaris.

All TVRs now come with Alpine sound systems.

All TVRs now come fitted Sparco Seats.

In addition to the 7 spoke Spider there is a choice of optional 18 and 19 inch wheels.

Ricardo have been appointed to help develop it's cars (focusing on the Speed Six) in preparation for Euro V (LEV II) compliance.

---

That's all for now!

Difficult to say.

I did read an article in Classic & Sports Car Mag (August 2006), saying that the arrival of the Tuscan and Tamora convertables has driven examples of the Chimaera into MGB territory. 4.3s and and later 4.0 HC are being advertised for £6750, and even sub-50000 mile cars with full service history can be had for less than £8k.

I think it will only be a matter of time before T350 and Tamoras become sub £15000 as newer TVR models come onto the market.

Seats sound interesting. Any pics of these from the show stand or is this a 'will come'?

That should bump up the prices if they cannot be ordered anymore - like the Griff : they are rarer than most models and stunning looking..(T350 especially)..

If this is the case then its a very sad day. The T350 is not only one of TVR's best cars it is one of the best looking on the market.

Pictures never have done the car justice. In the flesh the car is simply
stunning.

...But isn't the Sag simply a T350 in heavy drag?

They are both great looking cars, I do prefer the T350 (hence why I got it) but was at HHC on Monday and had a really good look at one of their Tams and they do look good !!

Hopefully this will help keep the prices up due to rarity. Talking to a friend and he said TVR by law will have to keep making parts for a number of years. Is this true ??

Yes it is, with a little to much drag. As much as I like the Sag for its extreme hard core look, the T350 is just so much more svelte

Large writing not intended!!!!!!!

Not sure there are any mechanical componants that are not shared by the Tam, 350, Sag ETC.

Different engine (3.6 vs 4.0), suspension components (dampers, wishbones) etc.

But with the exception of the Sag rear wishbones they are all interchangable. All(bar Sag rear wish.) are same parts but different rating.

There's no problems getting parts for Chimaeras, Griffs etc. Can't see why there'd be a problem getting parts for the newer cars even if production ceased...

I bet that's not the case, more likely is that the front bodywork is longer, making it 'seem' the engine's further back!

Could be completely and utterly wrong though, and is based on nothing more than a wandering thought!

The engine in the Tam comes back to the windscreen.

Can't see how you would get it any further back.
