Just driving home from work and noticed that the driver side electric window grinds to a halt about half way down. Seems to be something preventing it lowering fully.

How do I go about removing the door panel so that I can investigate the problem??

Cheers, Mark

there are 3 bolts on the bottom of the door remove these and then you can carefully remove the pannel. Its that easy, or it was on mine

I`ve had the door panel off my Tamora, but not sure if the panels are the same?
If they are, the panel is held on by 3 hex type bolts under the door it`s self, they are coverd by plastic gromets, remove gromets, remove the 3 hex bolts and pull the panel downwards from under the alloy door strip, there will be a piece of plastic glued over the internals remove this and you have access to all the electrical stuff.

Thanks guys, heading into the garage now! Always easier when armed with a little knowledge.

Strange one though, just seems to be jamming against something on it's downward path. Luckily it still goes back up!

A block connector had come lose and got captured into the window mechanism. The window would close so far and then trap the block connector.

It also managed to pull a cable from the connector so I pulled the pin and re-crimped the wire then re-assembled. The rubber panel seemed a little large for the opening so trimmed that a little to. Anyway, all working properly now, thanks for the help.`
