I think it is a Relay job !!!!!!!
Discussion
I have the Tamora down in Basingstoke all week. On starting it up on Tuesday and Wednesday morning 2 faults appeared on the computer, Oil P Sensor and EFI Fault. When I started the Tamora up last night to go back to hotel, same 2 faults appeared but also the Oil psi reading was 0psi
. I checked the oil level and is OK. Started up this morning and still the same 2 faults and 0psi reading.
The car starts up and drives OK, but I am not sure about driving it with a 0psi oil pressure reading for long distances. I can either try and get it to Racing Green which is about 20 miles away, or get it relayed to David Hendry in Malmesbury which is close to my home.

If you call the AA/RAC they will probably be able to confirm whether there is an oil pressure by hooking up a manual gauge. There is a reasonable chance its the sender but you're right not gambling (esp. if the engine is not under warranty).
Seems odd that the oil pressure should just stop happening overnight - which makes me think electrical failure and not mechanical failure.

Agree with Targa; you could check for certain that some or all pressure is still there by undoing the braided steel connection to the sender and seeing if oil comes out as you start it for an instant and turn off (slightly messy - have a few rags ready!) Hopefully sender is in same easily-reached location as T350 on inner wing by airbox?

I got the Tam relayed back to David Hendry in Malmesbury yesterday. May I take this moment to say what a first class outfit the AA is. They loaded the car onto the relay truck without any damage to my Tamora, and got me to David hendry in good time.
One of the mechanics at David Hendry took a quick look and rectified the problem within seconds. He new exactly what to look for. It was a wire going to the oil pressure sender unit which had worked itself loose
. I was absolutely embarrassed that I put everyone to so much trouble, but there again I was'nt to know and it was better to be safe than sorry with a £5000 engine rebuild. Anyway I'm well relieved that it was only this that was the problem. I now know what to look for if the problem happens again.
Anyway David Hendry = excellent service.
AA & AA Relay = excellent service.
What made me chuckle though was I get banter from a mate at work who ownes a porsch 911 Turbo, but the AA relay chap said he had just recovered a 911 that had got engine problems

.Good to know its OK.
My only question is why didn't the AA spot this? They should have worked out where the sender unit was easily enough, then checked it was connected. Would have saved them a lot of time and money (and you a lot of time).
I'm heading out to Hendrys in a while to pick my car up. Good guys. Pity there's no mainline rail link in Malmsbury though.
