Is it knackered ?

My desktop PC has failed to boot up today and I get the following message:

VIA Technologies, Inc.VIA VT8237 Serial ATA RAID BIOS Setting Utility V2.20 Copyright (C) Via Tech

Scan Devices, Please wait...
Press < Tab > Key into user Window!

HardWare Initiate failed, Please Check Device!!!
The Bios does not be installed. Press <g> to continue!


When I press 'g', I get:

Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

Any ideas computer bods? Is it knackered, what do i do ?

Try looking through some of these for advice / fixes.

Sounds like it's not detecting your HDD. Check the connections or try redetecting.
