Caster Angle

I need to check my caster angle. I understand the basics but just need to confirm the maths. To start with I have 1.5 degrees of negative camber. Do I just turn the front wheel 20 degrees from straight ahead measure the angle, do the same in the other direction measure the angle, add the two together and multiply by 1.4 (ignoring the fact that I already have 1.5 degress of negative camber). For example say I get 2 degrees each way = 4 x 1.4 = 5.4 degrees of caster.
