Its ready for collection

Off to the dealer Sat to collect the car back from HGF. I need to get a good 500 smiles on it. I then take it back for a 6k service/tappet reset while I'm on holiday. Trying to book bodyshop at the same time for fix my misting front light.
Hope TVR stuck some juicy bits in the engine to make up for my inconvenience!
Question is: Will I want to sell it by the end of August or not?

I'm really glad to hear it's fixed. I can imagine how I would feel if my engine let me down again so quickly after being repaired. I'm sure that after a few good runs in it you'll remember that you can forgive these cars (if not TVR themselves) almost anything and you definately won't want to get rid it. After 13 years with TVRs I certainly couldn't imagine being without one.
I know just what you mean about the confidence thing. Following mine going pop, I used it to my advantage though to convince the wife about me buying an additional toy, "so that I can reduce the wear and tear on the Tiv and have something a little practical" - a Land Rover Defender
It's certainly a contrast to drive that and then switch back to the Tiv!

Actually, our next car purchase will probably be a replacement for her 2000 W reg'd TT. My A6 daily drive just keeps going without any problems. To be honest, I'm glad to have it - German quality aircon in this 35degree heat.
