I work in the north east so far since its launch i've seen one on the road,i have never really believed it was going to be a big seller, not because the car is'nt great mainly because of the price.
Plenty of new boxsters around but no caymans. So is it just a regional thing or is it not shifting in boxster numbers.I really dont think its such a bad thing imo gives the car a bit more rarity value.

One of my Dad's customers has traded his Boxster in, for the new Cayman. Must admit it's a gorgeous looking car.

I think it's a good thing when there's something around, that's not mega popular. It makes it that bit more unique.

I see a fair few in London but they're still outnumbered by Boxsters and 997s

I spoke yesterday to a dealer about a production slot for a new Cayman S and they said it would be 2007.

There were slots available for the 2.7 Cayman for build in October.

I seem to see as many Caymans as I do 997's around here.

Surely the Cayman is relatively new, so not too common.

But, within a year or two they will be as common as 987s, 997s etc.

Went into Porsche in Swindon today. I looked at a Cayman S and was told the next delivery they could offer would be March 2007.

A 2.7 Cayman would be available for delivery in October as would either derivative of a Boxster.

I live near Poole and Sandbanks where you see tons of flashy motors and every Porsche going but I've seen 3 in total since launch!!

There are about 7-8 in Leeds.
I reckon they look great. Almost went for it, but would miss the sun on a good day...
