My Atom has vibrated about 70% of the screws out of my camera. (Sony DSC F828) Went into the Sony shop in Guildford no help. They gave me a phone number to the spares department. I rang them up and they were even more useless. Apparently screws are not a spare part and they could not supply me with any!!

So where can a I get replacement screws??

If you haven't got a Tandy/Maplins near you there's always ebay. Have a look under PC or mobile phone accessories as there are probably job lots of assorted screws that you can buy. Might be an idea to put some Loctite blue on the threads when you re-install too.

Probably quicker and cheaper just to buy a new camera - and some impact absorbing foam to wrap around it when in transit.

Thanks for all the help, finally found a local repair shop that charged me £2.00 to replace about 6 screws. A lot cheaper than a new camera!!

whilst your out and about - go to a model shop and get some thread lock. Paint that on either the threads or on the outside - should help lock the screws in place for the future.
