A midge has got in my lcd panel and is walking around behind the graphics! Can you take these things apart to remove the little bastards?

Yours in disbelief,

It could've been worse, it could've been an elephant.

I was going to say rhinocerous, but couldn't work out how to spell rhinocerous

I guess it will die in pretty short order and fall to the bottom. They don't have a huge lifespan. I wouldn't risk taking the screen apart to fish him out.

I can't say baccaruda!

We're having that issue at work. I'm responsible overall for the entire computer network, and today, we had thunderbugs... I'm not talking one or two... almost everyone had at least 4 on each LCD !

We found that once the LCD's were switched off, the bugs gave up and headed for the flourescent lights instead. I was doing some Photoshopping at the time, took me about 3 attempts with the clone brush to remove the mark on my pic, before it wandered off on it's own... how dumb did I feel ??

One guy in the middle of a "Mr IT Guuuuuyyyy, what's this *poke* ?" squidges it into the monitor

Mr Dell didn't seem too impressed when I enquired why their monitors weren't sealed at the edge of the display, surely this must be a fault yadda yadda, and "can I have another 80 19inch TFT's free of charge please?"

I've also been afflicted by migde issues! It's moved halfway across the screen over the course of today - how long can it survive in there before it dies and scars my monitor for life?!
