BMW E90 Track Modifications
Discussion
Hello Collective
I have a friend at work who friend has an E90 BMW. I am not sure what engine he has but is looking to modify the car specifically for track and/or racing. Does anyone know of any companies that deal specifically with this sort of modification work to BMW's or another specialist company.
Cheers

KW supesion have done quite a bit of development work for the suspension on the E90 but I suppose it all depends on how far he wants to go with it and what kind of racing or track days he wants to do, there is a big difference between taking a modified road car on a track day and developing and racing a race car.Is the car going to be a stripped out fully caged race car or wil it still be required to take him to work and carry the family around?
At present most of the copetition work with the E90 has been done by BMW motorsport and the BMW motorsport supported teams Schnitzer,Schubert, RBM etc but these are using WTTC cars and your freind will need deep pockets to run one of those.
I belive there are quite a few people in Holland racing BMW 130's www.cpz.nl/action/fotoboek/index.xml these seem more production based and maybe some of the mod's used on those cars may be useful and may be transferable to the E90.It maybe worth checking out?Good luck with it anyway.
