Chim suspension

I'd really forgotten how inprecise these cars are! Drove the Chimaera for the first time quickly yesterday and realise why the t350 felt such a revelation last time! Tracking/balancing were done fairly recently, but it feels really vague, gets upset by choppy road surfaces and generally feels like the steering wheel isn't attached above around 120 leptons.
I presume polybushes and decent shocks are the best way forwards for fast road/track use?
Ohlins, Nitrons, Protech/Gas, Avo's in that order of preference?

edited to say: Despite it being tatty, slow with bad handling and deadly brakes I'm glad to be back in a TVR, and really like the v8 engine characteristics and general driving experience.
