TR7 V8 exhaust system...

... would the fabricated manifolds be reasonably similar to those on a TVR wedge? Or does the TR have some convolutions to avoid the chassis?

There's much more room in a TR7 engine bay so if anything I'd say the 7v8 manifolds would be too big. The man to ask is Mike Johnson - BoostedLS1 on this site. He used to build the things, and has a TR7V8 in his workshop now - except the V8 in question is now a Chevvy LS1 and he's turbo charging it - twice!

I think the only tubular manifolds which will fit a wedge are those which were built for the job.

I have a spare set of manifolds in my shed, will need a bit of (okay a lot of) welding, as I cut the end off one of them, and they have a few pin holes here and there.
