Where Can I get Number Plates From 4 my new car !

I'm trying to get hold of some new number plates, and the Cerb ones need to be 'see through' to allow the plate lights to shine through. I want the 'Show Plates' you, kmow slightly different font, and a St George badge on them - Of course I know they are illegal, and I will never put them on for road use, theyre just when the car is in my Garage when I get it home !!

All the companies I speak to dont' really understand what I am on about when I say I dont want the backing on, and that they have to be see through(ish). The tone in there voices leads me to imagine tham saying (when they come off the phone) 'Just had some a*sh*l* on the phone asking for See through number plates !!"

Does anyone know where I can get some please?

You won't need the show through rear plates if you only using it for shows, as if you are spacing them differently they would be illegal for the road anyway.

I suspect the 'Never use on road' may have been

We got ours from fancy plates, all legal spacing and lettering. Only took 3 days to come and they look really good.

The word you're looking for is either "backlit" or more properly "translucent" plates.

do you have to enter any specfic size other than the standard one on the web site for TVR?

I know a bloke in Dorset who will do anything with a number plate! Any font, any spacing, any badge, any surround - basically anything.

If your interested (Dorset's a nice drive this time of year) I'll email you some directions...
