I can acess my company's intranet from my laptop at home using "Remote Desktop",however I can't print any files from the intranet onto a shared printer at home.Should I be able to copy files from the company site to my laptop and print from there?,'cos I can't do this either.I can copy but I can't paste to anywhere outside the company machine. It's frustrating. (I am OK with Unix and MPE but sometimes Windows does my 'ead in.)

Really depends how it's set up. Printing, file access and clipboard support can all be turned off on terminal services, so if they have been then you're stuffed.

Check the properties > Local Resources. Should be a tick in the printers bit. As said, if they've been turned off on the server you're stuffed.
