Mk1 GT3 Colours

Hi guys

Will soon be starting the search for a good mk1 and have been thinking about the colours they came in (obv. i'll be buying on condition as priority!)

As they're few and far between in Scotland, i've only seen two - zanzibar and speed yellow. I thought the yellow was stunning but don't know if I could live with it

Anyone seen a mk1 in white? Is it the new silver?

So yes, there is one white one out there somewhere - not as fast as the Zanzibar ones though.

Looks like arctic silver and speed yellow are popular. Think i'm swaying more towards black or zanzibar for a change. Would like to see one in white tho

I reckon a Rubystone GT3 would certainly get you noticed.

Zanzibar is THE quintessential Mk 1 GT3 colour

A mate of mine used to own the green one...black interior, cage etc. A few choice upgrades as well IIRC.

Dunc, I have a Speed Yellow MK 1 GT3 and think it looks fantastic. Zanzibar is another cracking colour. A few years ago I could never imagine owning a yellow car but the GT3 looks best IMO in the more 'look at me' colours than sober ones but as you say there can't be that many kicking around in Scotland. Hope you get one soon.

Sorry gdunc, Scotland just isn't big enough for a 2nd Zanzibar Mk1 (at least I think I have the only one!) so I reckon you should go for black

Red is right on for earlier Porkers but black is boss for all else.

Mk 1 GT3's look utterly fabulous on a sunny day like today in Lapis Blue.

I've got the only one though!

(I also like zanzibar..)
