Hello,
I'm making adapterplate for Chevy SB with a Getrag 6-speed gearbox (Audi).
I need correct measurements for CSB (1986) boltpattern.
Anyone?

Greetings from Sweden!

If you are making an adapter plate and you want it to actually fit would it not be a good idea to measure your own engine and gearbox? Basing an expensive machining job on some numbers you pulled off a web forum seems a little unwise to me...

Kennedy Engineering in the US make adapter plates for that combo (others do to but I can't remember who off the top of my head)

Kennedy Engineering do not make plate to my combination. The same with other manufacturer i have asked.

But maybe someone in this forum have made his/hers own engine adapterplate and can share drawing/measurement with me? I need to double check my measurements.
(I only need measurements for CSB)

The transaxle you are using, does it use the 016 or 018 designation ?

If so that it the Audi transaxle that was used in the Roaring Forties GT40 replica (currently they are in receivership, creditors asking for money). They had it mated to a small block ford of some description so that adaptor plate probably wont help you, however if you click your way over to www.GT40s.com or some of the Lambo replica sites someone might have some of the dimensions your looking for

It would think it a simple mater of substituting the Small block Chev dimensions in place of the ford numbers.

No, but info on Internet tells me that boltpattern at my 01E gearbox are allmost identical.

Manufacturer of GT40 are unfortunately not interested in me because I don't own a GT40. :-(
I have tryed GT40s.com, but sites of Lambo replica is a good tip. Thanks!
