FAO Biking PH'ers......HELP!!

Need some help/advice guys (or girls)
My Brother in law is going away for some time (doesn't know how long, could be up to 6 months) and is going to be leaving his bike unattended.
He's worried about the petrol going off and the engine not starting on his return.
He has a GSXR 600 injection model if that helps.
