The Mrs was shopping, whilst I looked after our sleeping baby (never, ever wake a sleeping baby!) I had noticed a Green Chimaera in the next row along completely topless. Except after about 10mins the heavens opened and it Pi$$ed it down...

I couldn't just sit there and watch it fill up, so I headed over there with a golf umbrella, raised the hoop and sat the umbrella on top... luckily no alarm sounded (indicators flashed, so I guess the sirens had it!).

I like to think if I had left my roof off someone would of done the same for me, but would you?

You, sir, should appear in the New Year's Honours List with all the lollypop ladies.

Respect!

Well done that man I would do the same although I would probably not have my roof or a brolly with me.

What did the owner say when he returned ?

He was very grateful!! & suprised, I guess he was expecting to open the doors to let the flood out. I expect he still had a damp seat on the way home

I bet the owner was glad you were there..

I must confess I would be highly impressed if someone did that for me...

Living in Wales, I'm surprised you have time to take your top off between the showers!

Conversely, where I live will be the hottest part of the country tomorrow!

Marriage Proposals! LOL The wife may have something to say about that one!

Anyway happy to help Grum101 & I am sure we can arrange a beer, do you attend any TVRCC meets or the Virginia Waters meet (not sure the next one has been announced yet?).

I am a big believer of what 'goes around - comes around!' and this may just be a lucky coincidence, but I won an expensive drinks hamper today at a work doo with over 900 people in attendance....spooky! I never win anything! 900-1

Cheers,
Jon
