Can anybody tell me how the top bonnet catches works, the one near the drivers wiper blade has worked itself loose, not enough to open up, but i can't get it to go back down either. Thanks.

Make sure theres no pressure on the bonnet then stick your 1st 2 fingers in where the catch is, press on the end of the catch (away from the engine direction), it will spring in, while it is pressed right in, push your bonnet down into the catch, let go of the catch, then let go of the bonnet..hey presto! it will happen again...mines been doing it for over a year, hopefully getting a new one fitted on Friday
.....to add, before you push the catch in, you have to revolve it on itself, so the open part faces up, for the bonnet pin to go in.

Cheers for that, I'll give it a try when I get home.

Nice colour Tuscan by the way, you were parked directly behind me at the Hilton in Blackpool on the Friday night.

Thanks for the help. What had happened is the nut on the bit attached to the bonnet had come unscrewed and thus raising the bonnet, but the ball was still in the socket! By unclipping the bonnet I could then get a spanner in to tighten the nut, as you say 'hey presto'. Cheers
