I sent a Flash animation to a client this morning but they couldn't play it - their machine said 'insufficient media data in file'. It plays fine here so I guessed they needed the Flash plug-in. I googled for same and sent them this link: www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/i

They downloaded it OK and rebooted but their machine still says 'insufficient media data in file'.

Any ideas what they can do?

Thanks all!

Hmm. Google doesn't give anything wonderfully informative on a search... Out of interest compare the file sizes. If they're different ask them if they're running a anti-virus on the e-mail side of things. It could be it got a false positive and ripped part of your file out. Or their router/firewall is hungry and ate it.

Try sending again stuffed inside a zip file would be my advice if any of those are the case.

Thanks - have zipped it and also sent your text - we'll see how they get on.
