I've heard that there are ways to jump the queue but only rumours...

Officially it's 2 or 3 years but if you want one badly enough and pester the dealers, you'll get one sooner.
I'd recommend ringing them and mentioning that you are waiting with a £10k deposit should they need to get a deal done on the day - you might be surprised by the response.

It's a great car by the way.

Given that I've just cancelled 2 orders, and two other people I know have also cancelled, probably not that long

As I see it buying a Ferrari in the UK is such a mess (with all the dealers having different wait times and allocations) that you might as well order through several dealers to increase your chance of getting one quickly.

Since most of the people I know have done this, and those orders (which were made at the time of the car launch) are all up for spec shortly, it's likely that quite a few build slots are going to be available in the near future

Would have been tempted to keep those places Doug, or to have called Dion as he can usually put customers in cars with £££ back to you....

I'll take 2 if they are coming soon, any hints as to which dealer I need to contact - Jonny will probably beat me to it mind.

I did think about just taking them to sell on, but I've really got better things to do than piss around trading cars for what £5,000 max

I have got one more spider slot in the near future which I probably will take, but my spec will be black/black leather/red stitching/red brakes - so it clearly wont be for resale

Yellow brakes would look better imo.

I reckon you'd net £12k for making 2 phonecalls if you did pass them on.
Still - it's only money!
