Would appreciate some help on a faulty Meta alarm (factory fit).

Since accidentally leaving my lights on when parked in the rain (which caused the alarm to go off after a few hours?) the alarm sounds every time I try to lock the doors.

At present I am using solution B - not locking the doors - but wondered if I managed to reset the alarm it might cure the problem. Any idea how this can be done?

Otherwise its running fine

Thanks

Jev.

Don't know if same, but resetting immobiliser by disconnecting battery earth terminal for a few seconds sorts out locks - might be all you need???

Beyond that - Carl Baker: Alarm God might be able to help you. He's on here somewhere - www.tvruk.tv I think.

IIRC disconnecting the battery terminal for about 10 seconds and then re-connecting it MAY, solve your problem.

Failing that, ring Carl He'd da man! OH

A low car battery will cause this by having a voltage drop. Does the car start and run ok?

Most car alarm "problems" are nothing to do with the alarms themselves.
