Hey guys... Clutch slipping (((

Any ideas on who can change it at a resonable price and how much it will cost parts and fitting.

Many Thx

Mine was about 300 I think. Fitted at Porscheworx, Belsize Park.

I think I paid around £600 for a replacement from an indie.

If you are in the south then I can recommend either of these guys:

Tognola - Datchet
Northway - Reading

Just checked JZ Machtechs website which quotes £781.38 inc vat fitted.

No affiliations etc as Northway did the one on my 993 and it wasn't much different IIRC.

It's probably me thats wrong to be fair. It definitely wasn't as high as £700 though.

Dare I say it, it may be prudent to have the RMS done at the same time.

Kerchinng

Still a prudent step IMO, despite BC's swearometer.

So that's a New Clutch & RMS seal done for £550 + vat, I think that blows the RMS worries in 996's out of the water.
That seems like a very good deal & will put a lot of worried minds at rest.

I have a Tip & its my first "auto", do you know when the equvelent of the clutch on them needs changing?
