Well, tomorrow being Valentine's day and all, I decided a while ago to propose to the, er, future Mrs Plipton.

I collected the ring today (18 ct gold with 3 diamonds) and hope it all goes well tomorrow.

Will it be or ???

Wish me luck....

Thanks

Plipton

I doubt it - they're not allowed internet thingies at her work.

Not bl00dy likely!!

Thanks Mel - I saw that one. Poor ba$tard's really copping it rough.

Sue (Mrs Plipton to be - maybe) was being cheated on by her ex husband. Needless to say, she finds it difficult to trust me but is realising as time passes I'm a decent, honest, faithful chap.

We've been living together nearly 2 years now so I thought I'd wait until St V day to do the honours

Good luck. It was the most terrifying moment of my life. Quickly followed by the best moment.

Actually, not so quickly. It took her a good few minutes to stop blubbing.

Good luck sir.

(I hope impending marrage doesn't put too much of a dent in the sports car fund).

It wasn't valentines day but I did do the one knee thing (later on) at the top of the stairs, drunk and naked

Took her 2 weeks to confirm her Yes-ness to the whole idea (too many years not worrying about it but ecstaticly happy ever since).

Good Luck mate.

Good luck.

Do this one thing right and you'll be able to dine out on it for years.

I've found it's one (of the many) topics women invariably cover when they get together is how you proposed. Do it well and you get instant respect from her mates. Remember she may have been dreaming of this moment for a long time and will want it to be perfect.

Fortunately I seem to have done OK as Mrs CVP is happy to tell her tale.

So prepare to get down on one knee and ask properly.

Best of luck

Chris
