3gp files to MPEG

Does anyone know if its possible to convert 3gp videos files from a camera phone into mpeg? and if yes, how?

www.xilisoft.com is your friend.

Trial version gives full functionality, but limits the conversion to the first 5 minutes (I think) of a video file.

Which means that unless you have some ridiculously long 3GP files on your phone, it will do everything you need.

Also have a look on www.videohelp.com under Convert. They may have some Freeware answers (certainly do for the other way round).
