4.0 V8 Stalling Problem - Any ideas?

Came on to post a problem, and saw a similar thread on Chimaera page.
But wondered if a general TVR thread might throw up something different.

Barbie is a Chimaera 4.0, but she has started stalling, coming off a steady throttle to a halt.

If I blip the throttle before it stalls it settles to a perfect idle.
But if I just come off a steady throttle, it will stall between third and second, or as I draw to a standstill.
Otherwise running fantastic.

I have cleaned the stepper motor thingy, and checked all leads etc and nothing obvious.

My "guess" was fuel starvation, or vapouristation, but I will certainly check the electrical tips mentioned on the other thread.

Any other ideas?

Check the battery as well, mine was doing the same thing, turned out to be a dodgy battery

It's the stepper motor - either not set properly (base idle needs to be set) or the stepper motor is on it;'s way out..

Or the road speed sensor. Mine does the same occassionaly and last weekend i got the fault code 68 showing up (which relates to the speed sensor). It's now gone away though, but still stalls every now and then. Might be worth a clean.

Not if she was finished in glittery "Hot Pink" metalflake

Actually she is quite stunning in the sunshine.
The humble little 4.0 generated a lot more interest on the Prom at Blackpool than much more exotic machinery.

Little girls find her especially attractive

I also have some nice little puppies at home, if you would like to see them
