F430 1000 mile check up

Just a quick one, have any of you bothered with the above? It's not free like the 1250 mile Lambo one and I think it might just be a revenue generator for the impoverished dealers?

If the car is running 100% fine, would you bother doing it?

Picked up my 430 three weeks ago from Maranello and was told that the 1,000 mile svc is no longer done. Just the standard annual svc / 6,250 whichever comes first. Certainly no section in the service schedule to get a stamp for a 1,000m svc

I just ordered my new 430 Spider - Was told by the dealer that the 1000 mile check is a thing of the past.

I was told the Same, mines going in for the Chips on the bumper though, as we speak!!!!
