So, that's the system for you. I've got roughly 49 motoring offences ahead of me then before I fear prison.

Lovely.

Unless you are seriously speeding like those two bikers who got sent to jail for speeding on a dual carriageway.

Ummm - 49 speeding offences will see you, your family AND your neighbours (and their pets) summarily executed (slowly).

Wasn't it the dangerous driving part that got them jailed, not the actual speeding?

Not sure of the technical charge, just remember seeing the video of them doing a gradual left hander overtaking a lorry. CPS may call it dangerous, I'd just call it speeding.

This brings into discussion of course what the actual government/CPS policy is. I remember reading of a PHer getting charged with dangerous driving for 115 on a clear motorway, purely because he was X amount over the limit it was classified as dangerous.

I'd just call it fun

I only mention it because I seem to recall VH picking me up about speed and jail, apparently you can't be jailed for speed alone, that's why they tack a DD charge on it.
